datakore Posted December 5, 2015 #1 Posted December 5, 2015 Hi folks, maybe someone can help me here. I am trying to download this website for offline use. I have been somewhat guiding an Elderly Couple with learning html and webpage building. They have no internet so i am wanting to get this website and put it on an external drive for them to use. I have chosen this site because it isn't overwhelming for them and the layout is clean and simple. Easier for them to navigate through. I have tried using HTTrack Website Copier and Visual Web Ripper <<< still trying to figure how to use VWR. I am having no luck at all. If anyone knows how to do this or can do it for me and upload, I would greatly appreciate it. Here is the website I am trying to download for offline use. Administrator draww Posted December 11, 2015 Administrator #2 Posted December 11, 2015 Visual Web Ripper is a bit on leeching data over net not a website copier. You may try Teleport Pro. I think it'll do the job for you

Had no idea what VWR was really all about even though I read the homepage. Just thought I'd try it to see if it would let me rip the webpage.

I've tested your site with both and Ultra nailed it update: Hidden Content Give reaction to this post to see the hidden content. you can fine tune project file to fulfill your needs. you need ultra version for this! ps: open index.htm for front page 3 1
datakore Posted December 11, 2015 Author #5 Posted December 11, 2015 Wow you rock draww. So basically now, with the dump, all I have to do now is really open up the index file in my browser from the echoecho folder? Or is there more that I need to do using TPU? I am assuming that basically your dump file is ready for use out of the box?
Administrator draww Posted December 11, 2015 Administrator #6 Posted December 11, 2015 Yes, all you need to do is opening index.htm - thats all! If some pages are not gathered, you can add them to your project file and re-run it. TPU will download the new files and update indexes.
