hi all. i have been trying to get this program to work but have been unsuccessful. i follow the steps indicated but am always greeted with the info that it is a trial version. i have tried installing it whilst connected/disconnected to the net, with a/v disabled and nothing changes. anyone able to tell me what i'm doing wrong, please?

Which version, jimbo? Remember buddy, the more info you provide, the better!

 

Once I had v7.1.1 installed and it worked like a charm.

sorry for the tardy response, BamSec1. i dont know if i had forgotten to enable the notification or whether it didn't work. anyway, i have tried the last 2 versions and had the same result, ie, it still comes up as a trial. i admit i haven't looked for an older version, thinking it would react the same. if you know of an older version still available, i'll give it a go willingly. the main reason i want this or something very similar is the app i normally use to put my phone contacts on to my sim just wont work on the phone i am using. everything else on it works well, as far as i can tell. i also tried other contacts apps but no joy with any of them, hence my wanting to give this program a try.

hi again. just to update things here, taking your hint BanSec1 about previous versions, i tried some older versions of the software and the newest one i could get to work, or at least not come up as 'Trial' was MobileTrans 7.1.0.305. it wont take an 'over the top' update, which i didn't think it would anyway. i wonder why the patch maker hasn't rectified his work to bring it in line with the newer versions? maybe the makers have changed the way it does things to prevent the patch from doing it's job?

 

anyway, all good atm with the version above. just got to see if i can do what i want now.
