Important Things Humans Should Know is the 9th studio album by Dirty Bourbon River Show, a New Orleans-based big brass circus rock ensemble. The album is being produced by Craig Schumacher of WaveLab Studios at The Living Room in New Orleans.

Craig has produced Calexico, Devotchka, Iron & Wine, Neko Case, Amos Lee, as well as the soundtrack to "I'm Not There" the Bob Dylan biopic starring Heath Ledger and Cate Blanchett.

Since forming in early 2009, the Dirty Bourbon River Show has released 8 studio albums and played over 600 live shows, fast earning them a stellar reputation for their tight, diverse sound and high-energy performances. They can be found bringing their blend of "New Orleans Gypsy Brass Circus Rock" all over the USA, performing at festivals and respected venues year-round.
