it is working. im not saying that is not working. just warning message appear that saying "fake serial used. purchase license". but as  i said it is working.  it is ennoying nag screen.

The same happened to me too yesterday. I tried using draww's activation scripts but to no avail. Further, I had installed the IDM extension in my browsers. I deactivated them after using msstdfmt's version. Now the "fake serial used. purchase license" is not popping up.

this is another layer of protection check. it should be addressed so that it can be fixed soon.

In continuation, I think it is the browser extension for IDM which created the problem. Enabling the browser extension leads to the popup and disabling there is no popup.

But, the screen appear even any browser not openned. Im not sure its about it.

It doesn't for me!!.  I use three browsers (tor, firefox and edge). IDM extension is installed in all three. I have disabled the extension ( not uninstalled/removed). No popups!

I couldnt say "you are wrong" Of course it can be like this at your side. but here situation is that. And it must be fix. Just this.

I returned back to build 2 but the pop-up is still there. so it seems it's kind of server related. adding IDM to hosts would solve this. I'll try and let you know

the new activation script seems to be working with a random approach (1.2)

update: after some time it detects new serial and nags user again. I'm sure it's something server side but I don't have time to debug idman to see what's going on. so will wait for someone to fix this
