FunkyBuddha Posted December 22, 2023 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2023 (edited) I removed parts of the filenames so that source metadata searches could find content. Here are some basic regex to get you started: Input: [Release Group] Movie Name (1080).mkv Output: Movie Name (1080).mkv Use Trim Function (Removes Release Group): ^\[(.+?)\] Use Remove Function (Removes Trailing Whitespaces): \s*$ Use Remove Function (Removes Leading Whitespaces): ^\s+ Use Replace Function (Removes Double Whitespaces): / +/g Use Remove Function (Removes non-ASCII characters): [^\x00-\x7F] *** Add yours to this thread if you have other regex you use to clean up your files. I typically use Smart File Renamer to perform renames. Edited December 22, 2023 by FunkyBuddha Link to comment
