These viruses stand to break activation and allow premium features of an application, False-positive infection is meant to be done inside keygen/patch/crack, the best thing to do is to ''Exclude application folder/exe via an Antivirus program'' the best trick a pirate user does. (And false-positive are harmless alarms, further whatever worst you get? they hardly issue redirects to the browser or offer you to install addons/third-party apps to install on choice, nothing else serious they can do without your notice, no access to files, no machine learning, as I said they are harmless and can be taken to rest if you exclude them via AV, further notes, anyone has doubt? stop using apps and research on False-positive subject, why it exists, what does it mean, and what it stands for.) Lastly, unless you are enjoying the release by @msstdfmt, Trust me to trust blindly, I have cross-checked his releases and using them from years, and I feel secure all the time, Yes I am 2 Link to comment

Note the "." instead of the "-" between forum-and-andr.net. However, from time to time, when we receive a report, we do also check if there's nothing wrong. We're humans and a mistake is always possible! 2 1 Link to comment
koolkat Posted November 30, 2023 Share #7 Posted November 30, 2023 You should examine VirusTotal findings further, and not automatically accept them as positive. Various labels are used, for example: PUA/PUP (Possibly Undesirable Application/Program), Crack, KG: These are not positives but warnings to “conscientious” users who avoid cracks. Gen (Generic): This is only predictive, not an actual find, and is often false. Furthermore, some obscure scanners try to show face by being “quick on the trigger”. Pay attention to the major, 1st division scanners. If these find a file safe, it probably is. Finally, don’t be in a hurry to scan a newly released crack, as it may contain zero-day virus, not yet detectable. So, give it a couple of weeks, and then scan it. 2 Link to comment
