  • preserves Official local settings because, if they are available, they have been created by another version of the same application, regularly installed, and they may have been customized by the user for specific needs. Official local settings are restored, by the Launcher, when the embedded application is terminated. It is foreseen using both solutions ( installed and Portable ), in the same System, but it's not recommended starting one them before closing the other one
  • manages the embedded application crashes, trying to avoid traces bloating the System are left, and trying to avoid data and settings are loss
