Unicodia is a replacement for Windows Character Map. In Windows 10/11, all characters of Unicode 15 (no named sequences right now). In Windows 7, all characters of Base Multilingual Plane, plus Phoenician, Aramaic and Brahmi, as scripts of high importance. I’ll also support Old Gothic, just because it looks really “gothic”. Shows if the character is supported in your system, and if so, which font. Copy character codes in HTML, UTF-8 and UTF-16. Simple search. Little emoji reference. A few words on every script. Unicodia is just fun to read. Chinese/Japanese/Korean are collapsed initially. Otherwise point somewhere, and 75% you hit an ideograph

• Portable version built by Easy using the PortableApps Format (PAF)
• Offline Extractor ( UnicodiaPortable_x.x.x_x64.paf.exe )
  • size is about 45MB. Official application embedded
  • preserves settings in case of upgrade ( replacing any previous Portable version by Easy )
• Extracted Portable application
  • size is about 135MB. 64-bit official application embedded
  • embedded application files are fully available. Default location is ..\UnicodiaPortable\App\Unicodia\
• Launcher ( UnicodiaPortable.exe )
  • provides a Stealth and Fully Portable solution
  • creates the needed environment to grant the embedded application properly functions
  • executes the embedded application, on 64-bit Systems only
  • takes care of the most relevant leftovers ( registry, filesystem, drivers, services, etc ), after the embedded application is terminated, avoiding to leave traces and bloat the System
  • preserves embedded application data and settings, making them always available, regardless of the System on which it's executed
  • preserves Official local settings, needed to other versions of the application. Local settings are restored ( and newly available for the other versions ), after the embedded application is terminated. That's the main reason to not start another version of the same application during the execution of these Portable versions
  • manages the embedded application crashes, trying to avoid traces bloating the System are left, and trying to avoid data and settings loss
• 64-bit architecture application. Official application is released in 64-bit architecture only
• Multilingual application
  • all languages, provided with the Official application, are fully available ( English, Russian, and Ukrainian )
  • the embedded application default language is automatically set to English
  • a different language can be selected in the settings, when the embedded application is running. As for the other embedded application settings, any modification is preserved for next executions
• This Portable version is suitable for the use with PortableApps.com and similar platforms, like SyMenu, Port-Able Suite, etc
• Embedded application is Free/Libre, licensed under GNU General Public License 3.0 (GPLv3) (except license for two fonts)
