• Project started by FukenGruven aka PortableWares using the PortableApps Format (PAF). Current version implemented by Easy
• Offline Extractor ( RegWorkshopPortable_x.x.x_x86_x64_Multilingual.paf.exe )
  • size is about 2MB. 32-bit and 64-bit architectures of the application are both embedded
  • preserves settings in case of upgrade ( replacing a precedent Portable version by Easy or by FukenGruven aka PortableWares )
• Extracted Portable application
  • size is about 10MB
  • 32-bit and 64-bit architectures of the application are both embedded
  • embedded application files are fully available. 32-bit and 64-bit default application folder is ..\RegWorkshopPortable\App\RegWorkshop\
• Launcher ( RegWorkshopPortable.exe )
  • provides a Stealth and Fully Portable solution
  • creates the needed environment to grant the embedded application properly functions
  • executes the 32-bit or 64-bit embedded application, according to the System architecture
  • takes care of the most relevant leftovers ( registry, filesystem, drivers, services, etc ), after the embedded application is terminated, avoiding to leave traces and bloat the System
  • preserves embedded application data and settings, making them always available, regardless of the System on which it's executed. Edits to the embedded application settings are preserved for next executions
  • preserves Official local settings, needed to other versions of the application. Local settings are restored ( and newly available for the other versions ), after the embedded application is terminated. That's the main reason to not start another version of the same application during the execution of these Portable versions
  • manages the embedded application crashes, trying to avoid traces bloating the System are left, and trying to avoid data and settings loss
