koolkat Posted October 20, 2022 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2022 “Windows 10, version 22H2, also known as the Windows 10 2022 Update, is available for eligible devices running Windows 10, versions 20H2 and newer who manually seek to “Check for updates” via Windows Update. Devices currently on Windows 10, version 20H2 or newer will have a fast installation experience because the update will install like a monthly update.” As it says, you have to manually check for updates, it does not (yet) appear automatically. Older versions of Windows 10 can upgrade to version 22H2 using reinstallation. It’s a small update that only introduces small improvements, since the operating system is now in maintenance mode until the end of support. But you do need it to take you to the end of support, which is at least until October 14, 2025. For older versions, support will end sooner. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/status-windows-10-22h2 2 Link to comment
