Following are popular proverbs and counter-proverbs that will allow you to turn a conversation in any direction you want. Actions speak louder than words. -vs- The pen is mightier than the sword. Knowledge is power. -vs- Ignorance is bliss. The squeaking wheel gets the grease. -vs- Silence is golden. Look before you leap. -vs- He who hesitates is lost.
