Blunder

My daughter worked in publishing for a while. 

Some of 'her' authors were very prickly. One was particularly touchy about his height. 

Before launching emails to him she went over and over what she had written looking for references to 'little' 'tiny' 'squat' or anything else that he could misinterpret as barbs about his stature. 

On one occasion, knowing she would see him soon and satisfied she had committed no elevation blunders she typed in:

"See you shorty," and hit Send.
