Have you seen - Raised by Wolves? Ridley Scott-produced sci-fi series just wrapped up its 10-episode first season this week.

Visually magnificent. Full of lore. Intellectually stimulating. Decent performances. Pretentious in a good way, it draws much inspiration from ancient myths, such as the legend of Romulus and Remus, twins who were suckled by a she-wolf, whose story tells the events that led to the founding of Rome. 

It is a political series that has a war between atheists and believers at its centre, and does not favour any point of view. It is capable of providing the spectator with disturbing moments of tenderness and dazzling expressions of violence. 

Ridley Scott's provocative genetic code is very visible.

Cons: People who are pricklier can be frustrated; the series does not provide clarification on a tray. People who like content at a faster pace, this series has brutal action, but it takes time to tell the story.
