Firefox Send - Free and Secure Transfer of Large Files

Firefox Send is a free, quick and secure file transfer online service that allows users to safely and simply share large files from any browser.

It is so far little known, as it has not been widely advertized.

Send uses end-to-end encryption and offers controls that you can set: you can choose when your file link expires, the number of downloads (up to 100) and whether to add an optional password.

Use is very simple, just select or drag & drop the files you want to send. Size can be up to 1 GB, or 2.5 GB if you register for free.

It is equally easy for your recipient. You just send him (e.g. by email) a link (and any password) to click and download the file. He doesn’t need to have a Firefox account to access your file. And of course, neither of you has to install any dedicated client.

My comment: My first impression is hat the service seems ideal in all respects.

That is because it was not even 1 month old when you posted it, but I guess that in a few months many people will profit of this service.
