How to Easily Trim Videos Using Windows 10 Photos

It is very easy to use the Photos app on board Windows 10 to remove unwanted parts at the start and/or end of a video, without changing its format. 

1 Open the video with Photos

2 Click on the “Edit & Create” icon at the top right and select “Trim”.

3 Drag the two white circles on the timeline to mark the start and end of the section you want to keep. As you move them, the section’s duration is displayed. The blue circle shows the current position. Drag it around to ensure that the parts you want are included

4 Click on the “Save a copy” icon at the top right and select the location. The clip will be saved as a copy, leaving the original video intact.

Note that you cannot remove a part in the middle of the video, only at the two ends.
