pablocat Posted August 5, 2015 #1 Posted August 5, 2015 Hi Everyone I am having a problem with finding a driver for my Pioneer DVD-RW DVDRT11RS burner on an ASUS K53Z laptop. I upgraded from Windows 10 Pro x64 from Windows 8 Pro x64. Since then my Pioneer DVD burner doesn't show up in This Computer in Windows 10. Checked the Device Manager and the burner shows up as working properly but in the Driver tab it shows up as no driver installed. I disabled and enabled the device in Device Manager and no luck. Tried updating the driver online on Microsoft site but not able to find any driver online. Checked Asus and Pioneer website and no luck either finding the driver. I installed some driver finding programs and they say the driver is installed but when I check in the Device Manager the driver is still not there. Backupped the Drivers from these programs and manually searched for the folder with the drivers and still doesn't find the driver. I am still out of luck. Thinking about reinstalling Windows 8 Pro fresh and see if the DVD burner will reappear in My computer. Any ideas? Pablocat
