100 from the 110.

I have never rented a VHS movie, I bought them and still watch some of them them using a Scart to HDMI adapter from my video player to my TV (2HDMI & 2 Scart entries on a now 5yr old TV).

Also, do I still use a Sony mini-disc player which can record music, edit and cut parts of it, move it to an other place, for example from track 5 to track 3.
It also allows me to play loops from some music parts and more. Much better than a normal music CD disk!

Even in my car I still have an extra build-in 45Wx4 FM/MW/LW Sony MDX-C800REC player: it allowed me to record a hands-free conversation with a customer in case he called to place an order while I was abroad or the office was closed.
Of course I can also play what I recorded from an USB stick, but I find the quality is not the same anymore... maybe it's just a thought!?

And now you will tell me how old I am? :lol3:

120!!!

I was a little diffident about earning less than 6$ an hour but in 1979 it sure was!!!

Again was it an 1.2 or 1.44 floppy drive cos' I started with 1.2, I get 10 more!!

The first movie I rented was "death wish" it was banned here. In 1987 I rented that as soon as I got a VCP so 10 more!

We never had a phone those days and the ones available were the rotary ones at the post office!

The sound of the modem connecting to the internet is still fresh!!

And here also... I started with a 1200 baud modem from Supra Corporation and ended with a US Robotics 19.2Kbps baud modem.

I remember sending an 880Kb 3.5" disk (Commodore Amiga) from Europe to a BBS in Riverside, Illinois USA, with a 2400 baud modem took +/- 50-55 minutes.
And now I upload 400-500 MB in less than 30 seconds.

I our parents could return, they would think they are on another planet than the earth!

In the early 90's some of my friends had a 20 MB hard disk. It was an enormously big case containing a noisy 5.1/4" HD which only worked when connected to a build in RLL controller.
The first time I entered the PC club with my 60 MB HD, they all asked "What all will you install in it... gee man, 60 MB!!!"

We are lucky ones as we witnessed technical evolution (in all areas) which never happened before. And for sure, there is still more going to happen!
