Legoman Posted February 6 #1 Posted February 6 Australian Standards documents are very heavily protected PDF files with multiple layers of copy-protection. They have Java-script to 'expire' them, they are password protected (both of which are easily stripped), but they also have DRM and are limited to only working in certain readers (Adobe Reader/Acrobat DC and PDF-Xchange only). I have managed to strip the password/java and open the document I have in PDF-Xchange but it still won't display without a DRM connection to something called a Vitrium Security Server with current valid login credentials, which obviously I don't have. Is there anyone very clever in here who would like a challenge to strip the DRM from a protected Australian Standard PDF document for me and maybe show me how you did it? I can forward an unadulterated AS document PDF to anyone who would like a try.
