Andr-Tech uk666 Posted December 15, 2024 Andr-Tech #1 Posted December 15, 2024 Working from home funnies Some may feel life can seem more serious and stressful, and perhaps there's less to smile about. However, sometimes gentle humour often presents welcome comfort. For many, while welcomed, working from home can also present some great challenges. Being inside for an extended period, juggling domestic tasks, educating children, professional demands of work, being away from family, friends, and colleagues - this is a 'new normal' for many. Also, it's easy to feel isolated and disconnected. Here we go, take a deep breath and smile: My memory has gotten so bad it has actually caused me to lose my job. I’m still employed. I just can’t remember where. I’m great at multitasking: I can waste time, be unproductive, and procrastinate all at once. Nothing ruins a Friday more than an understanding that today is Tuesday. I like work. It fascinates me. I sit and look at it for hours. I’m out of bed and dressed. What more do you want? A clean desk is a sign of a cluttered desk drawer. My resumé is just a list of things I hope you never ask me to do. My boss says I have a preoccupation with vengeance. We’ll see about that. I don’t work well under pressure… or any other circumstance. I get plenty of exercise: jumping to conclusions pushing my luck dodging deadlines.
