Firing Squad

An Englishman, Irishman, Scotsman, and a Welshman got captured by the enemy and faced the firing squad but were all given a one last request. 

So, the Welshman said he wanted a thousand Welshmen singing, 'Land of My Fathers'. 

The Scotsman said he wanted a thousand bagpipes playing 'The Flower of Scotland'. 

The Irishman said he wanted to see a thousand Irishmen doing 'The Riverdance'.

They then asked the Englishman for his last request.

He said:

"Please shoot me first!"
