Eraser (we recommend a double ended eraser - one with a soft and hard end)

You do not have to use the exact same brand as me either :-)The colours are as follows:Faber-Castell PITT Pastel Pencils273 warm grey IV181 payne's grey199 black131 coral187 burnt ochre283 burnt sienna101 white192 indian red182 burnt ochre175 dark sepia170 may green186 terracotta191 pompeian red176 van dyck brown143 cobalt blue109 dark chrome yellow106 light chrome yellowPastel PaperThe paper I use is a fabriano ingres pastel paper in sand colour (160gsm thickness). This is a great paper for starting out as you can erase mistakes easily! If you do not have this paper then you can use another paper that you prefer.Outline DrawingI provide you with an outline drawing for each portrait so that you do not have to draw the subject free hand. Trace this through to your paper using preferably a graphite transfer sheet like tracedown or print it straight out using your home printer.Step by Step InstructionsI walk you through step by step with video instruction how to draw each stage.
