PowerISO is a powerful CD / DVD / BD image file processing tool, which allows you to open, extract, burn, create, edit, compress, encrypt, split and convert ISO files, and mount ISO files with internal virtual drive. It can process almost all CD / DVD / BD image files including ISO and BIN files. PowerISO provides an all-in-one solution. You can do every thing with your ISO files and disc image files

 

Portable ( PAF ) PowerISO v8.4

• Project by FukenGruven aka PortableWares. Current version built by Easy using the PortableApps Format (PAF)
• Offline Extractor ( PowerISOPortable_x.x_32bit_64bit_Multilingual.paf.exe )
  • size is about 7MB
  • 32-bit and 64-bit architectures of the application are both embedded
  • preserves settings in case of upgrade ( replacing a precedent Portable version by Easy )
• Launcher ( PowerISOPortable.exe and PWRISOVMPortable.exe )
  • provides a Stealth and Fully Portable solution
  • creates the needed environment to grant the embedded application properly functions
  • executes the 32-bit or 64-bit embedded application, according to the System architecture
  • takes care of the most relevant leftovers ( registry, filesystem, drivers, services, etc ), after the embedded application is terminated, avoiding to leave traces and bloat the System
  • preserves embedded application data and settings, making them always available, regardless of the System on which it's executed
  • preserves Official local settings, needed to other versions of the application. Local settings are restored ( and newly available for the other versions ), after the embedded application is terminated. That's the main reason to not start another version of the same application during the execution of this Portable version
  • manages the embedded application crashes, trying to avoid traces bloating the System are left, and trying to avoid data and settings loss
  • Shell Extension/Context Menu and Virtual Drive features are disabled by default ( Admin privileges are required ). To enable them, modify the ShellExtension and VirtualDrive values to True in PowerISOPortable.ini ( settings file, available in the same path of the Launcher )
  • Virtual Drive Manager can be executed using the dedicated Launcher ( PWRISOVMPortable.exe ), if VirtualDrive value in PowerISOPortable.ini is set to true

  • all languages, provided with the Official application, are fully available
  • default language is automatically set, according to the System localization or, to English
  • a different language can be selected in the settings, when the embedded application is running. As for the other settings, modification is preserved for next executions
• 32-bit/64-bit ( dual architecture ) for 32-bit and 64-bit Systems
• WindowsPE is fully supported ( 32-bit & 64-bit )
• This Portable version is suitable for the use with PortableApps.com and similar platforms, like SyMenu, Port-Able Suite, etc
