Here is the video game “Defender of the Crown: Digitally Remastered Collector's Edition”! Released in 2002 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's an action and strategy game, set in a historical battle (specific/exact) theme and it was released on Mac as well.

Tested and working under windows 11.

Dont forget to use compatibility mode to run the game (use right click and under properties----> compatibility check "run this program in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3", "run in 640x480 screen resolution" , "run this program as an administrator" and apply).
