How to unpack an iOS software and access its sources?

Hello everyone,

I wonder this is a right section to ask my wish.

Most sections are locked for a newbie and I thought it would be the most trouble-free section to start my first request.

I'd like to unpack an iOS software and get my curiosity quenched by poking my head inside its sources.

Let me know what unpacking software I'll have to look for.

Thanks.

That shouldn't be ... can you let us know which sections, or is it the Request sections you are referring to?

If yes, that's normal: members (new and old-timers) need to have 10 topics or post before they can post in those sections.

I'll move this topic to the correct section for you: the Tech Help & Security [software & hardware] is the place to ask for help. ;)

When you download an IOS app it has an .ipa extension

It's just a packed file like the .apk for android so a simple unpacker of your choice should allow you to extract all the files of the container file.

7zip would probably be the easiest.
