MMT Posted February 9, 2021 #1 Posted February 9, 2021 On a lonely hillside in Montana sat a small Indian encampment. As an old Indian relaxed by the fire a youngster came to sit beside him. "Father", said the young boy, "How did my younger sister get her name?" The old man looked at him and said: "Well my son, it is our tradition to name a young born from the first thing we see after the birthing. I took her out in a blanket and I named her, 'Pale-Moon-Over-Water'.". "And my older sister?" When I took her out I named her after what I first saw, which is why she is called 'First-Snow-Of-Winter'." "And my brother?" "When I took him out I named him likewise, he is 'Running Deer'. But why do you ask all these questions 'Two-Dogs-F******'?" 2
