Suggestion For Clone / Backup entire OS for windows 7

So I have an old laptop running Windows 7 with all windows security updates and drivers up to date. Which software should I use to clone/ backup the entire OS to a Image to an external usb so later if I have to replace the laptop hard drive I can just boot thru that image and get reinstall Windows 7 to the current state?
