My goal is to to provide a list of Free Filehosting: 100% free and of course with NO spamming, advertising, registration, solicitation, download delay, profanity or otherwise...

Very nice post, hpwamr.

However, concerning advertisements, waiting time and download speed, much depends on the region one lives in.

Example: while zippyshare might be a good host for West European members, it might be an annoying one for Asian, North American and/or South American members.

Some may possibly have a cheap ($16.00) 6 months subscription at Real-Debrid and profit of unrestricted downloads, from many hosts, at the fastest speed their internet ISP offers.

In the past I used to have subscriptions from different hosts (Rapidshare, Rapidgator, Oboom, Turbobit, Uploaded.net/ULto, and some more!).

But now, with my cheap Real-Debrid subscription, I don't need them anymore. After installing the Real-Debrid add-on, I can download from all those hosts without waiting time, without restrictions and at full speed.

In our Full Warez sections, 2 of our daily posters mostly post Rapidgator links, and only for that it is worth to have a subscription from Real-Debrid.
Of course, those links are free links and all can download them, but then at lower speed.

Strange fact ... I still buy every year a subscription (end-of-year action) from 1Fichier (€10.00 or $15.00 for 1 year), but I often forget to log in when clicking on a 1Fichier link.
So far I never had to wait between 2 downloads and find their speed quiet fast.
Also, did I never see any of their advertisements, but that is probably because I use the AdBlock and 7TimesFaster addons.

Maybe that is because they check the users' system and browser's language instead of their IP? that would be strange!
I have never set my IP in their settings as I remove all, except Andr||Net's, cookies from my browsers almost every hour and sometimes, when I visit more sites, even every 30 minutes.

Please, consider my comment only as an addition to your helpful advice for our members.

Good idea, hpwamr! Here's an other host; Workupload. It is similar to zippyshare, but has more advantages.

Their service is also completely free and you also don't need to register.

Up- and down-load file size is up to 2 gigabyte, files remain 90 days online instead of 30 (zippyshare), you can bulk downloads files (more than 1 file at the time), unlimited files, fast downloads.

And if you register for free (I am), you can manage your files (delete, move, set how many times they may be downloaded, set a delete date), 50 gigabyte file space.

Some of my personal files are still online after more than 2 years!

Here another amazing filehosting/sharing also available in EN, FR, DE, IT and ES.   

Infomaniak provides the Customer with a digital infrastructure for file sharing with a limited time frame, and with a limited number of downloads.

Each transfer can be sent to a limited number of e-mail addresses per share, and each recipient is notified separately of the availability of file sharing.

After expiration of the availability period, the files are deleted.

• The use of the Swiss Transfer Service provided by Infomaniak is free.

Each transfer is limited to a data volume of 50 gigabytes (GB). Data can be sent to up to 20 recipients.

• Infomaniak undertakes to transmit the connection data via https.
• The maximum number of downloads per file is 200.
• The maximum number of files that can be sent per transfer is 500 files.
• The maximum number of transfers per day is 50.
• After 30 days, access to files by the download URL is no longer available.

Hi hpwamr,

for those of us not in 'the scene', what is "NF", please?

 

Also, I'd like to mention Solidfiles.com :  When checking if links are still valid (as moderators do) I have found that solidfiles seems to be consistently the one site that is the most reliable for keeping links up for free users - sometimes up to 5 years (!) without a download - especially in the mirrored.to environment that some of our uploaders here at forum-andr use. This will very often be the case even when every other mirrored site reports 'file expired' or missing from some other reason. The next most reliable is 1fichier followed by mega. This is only my experience in this scenario.

I've have replace it by "DownloadGG".

No, it's NOT an alternative !!!

MANY sites on https://mirrorace.com/ did NOT pass the tests very well !!!
