batman4ever Posted November 12, 2017 #1 Posted November 12, 2017 Hello, I have an excel file and want to make all values in the column the same. Does anyone know a trick to do this. For example: I have : B1, B2, B3 value is: "sales:merchandise" , and B4, B5, B6, .....B10000 value is: "sale" How do I make the whole column to: "sales:merchandise" ? I try to highlight and paste, and it only paste 1 cell at a time.
Andr-Tech uk666 Posted November 12, 2017 Andr-Tech #2 Posted November 12, 2017 Try: Enter "sales:merchandise" in the first cell then select it and all the cells beneath it you want filled, then press Ctrl + D to fill down. If yours excel file has a lot of rows, don't forget that ctrl+end gets to the bottom 4
