Another great and simple freeware application is SumatraPDF, a no frills app that will display very many types of e-books, including PDF, ePub, MOBI, CHM, XPS, DjVu, CBZ, CBR . Sumtra PDF is for Windows.

Thumbs up to Calibre. I use this app and Calibre-Web in a docker container to share ebooks on my LAN.
